The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working
Conditions (Eurofound) is a tripartite European Union Agency, whose role is to provide
knowledge to assist in the development of better social, employment and work-related
policies. Eurofound was established in 1975 by Council Regulation (EEC) No. 1365/75 to
contribute to the planning and design of better living and working conditions in Europe.

COFACE Families Europe

COFACE Families Europe is a network which represents millions of families, volunteers, and professionals. COFACE advocates for strong social policies that take into consideration family needs and guarantee equal opportunities for all families. Our area of work includes social and family policy, education, disability rights, gender equality, children rights, migration, consumer issues as well as the impact of technological developments on families.

European Labour Authority

The European Labour Authority (ELA) has been created to help Member States and the European Commission to ensure that EU rules on labour mobility and social security coordination are enforced in a fair, simple and effective way. ELA also has an important role to play in facilitating and ensuring effective labour mobility in Europe, in particular by activities of European Employment Services (EURES)

European Institute of Gender Equality

EIGE collects, analyses, processes and disseminates data and information on gender equality issues, whilst at the same time making them comparable, reliable and relevant for the users. To support better-informed policy-making EIGE contributes to the promotion of gender equality in Europe through delivering high-level expertise to the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Member States and Enlargement countries.

CPB (Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis)

CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis is an independent research institute that provides policy relevant economic analyses and projections. We conduct research on the Dutch economy in particular, and on socio-economic policy, in general. We translate scientific insights into everyday policy practice, providing a rational and factual basis for both policymakers and the public at large.

ETUI (European Trade Union Institute)

The European Trade Union Institute is the independent research and training centre of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) which itself affiliates European trade unions into a single European umbrella organisation. The ETUI places its expertise – acquired in particular in the context of its links with universities, academic and expert networks – in the service of workers’ interests at European level and of the strengthening of the social dimension of the European Union.

European Centre for Social Welfare and Policy Research

The European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research (the European Centre) is an intergovernmental organisation affiliated to the United Nations. Its purpose is to foster the collaboration in social welfare between governments and organisations by providing applied social science and comparative empirical research; forging the evidence-base for social policy making and mutual learning; and, initiating future-oriented public policy debates by networking.
